What we know about you, in plain language.

The short version.

We run a small, quiet shop. We collect the minimum needed to deliver what you buy and to send you the emails you asked for. We don't run ads on this site, we don't sell your information, and we never see your card number.

What we collect, and why.

When you buy a guide or claim the free chapters, checkout is handled by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. They collect your name, email, and payment details to process the order and deliver your files. We receive your email address and order details from them; your card or PayPal details go to their payment processors and never reach us.

Buying something or claiming the free chapters also adds your email to our list. We use it to deliver your files, to send the short welcome notes described on the site, and to tell you when a new guide exists. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing works the first time.

The site itself has no accounts, no login, and currently no analytics of our own. One thing worth naming because most sites wouldn't: to make checkout open quickly, this site pre-loads the Lemon Squeezy checkout page quietly in the background while you browse. That means Lemon Squeezy may see your visit and set its cookies even if you never click a buy button. It exists purely to make buying fast, and it respects your browser's data-saver setting.

The services we rely on.

Lemon Squeezy handles checkout, payment, file delivery, and receipts, with Stripe and PayPal working inside it; their own privacy policy, on lemonsqueezy.com, governs what they collect. Our email service provider stores the mailing list and sends our emails on our behalf. The site's typefaces load from Google Fonts, which means Google's servers receive your IP address when the page loads. And our hosting provider, Netlify, keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, as almost all web hosts do.

Your choices and your data.

You can unsubscribe from the list at any time using the link in any email. You can also write to us to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted; we'll act on it promptly. Depending on where you live, including the UK, the EU, and elsewhere, you may have additional statutory rights over your data, and we'll honor them.

We keep order records for as long as tax and accounting rules require, through Lemon Squeezy. We keep your email on the list until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it.

This site and our guides are intended for adults and are not directed at children.

Changes.

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top and, for anything significant, say so by email. Silence means nothing changed.
